Caringbah Rotary is sending a container of school supplies to a small Primary School in Tonga.

A number of schools in the Sutherland Shire have provided or pledged equipment.
Angaha Primary School is located on ‘Eua, 2.5 hours by fast ferry from Nuku’alofa the capital of Tonga. The school currently has 324 students and 12 teachers.
The only computer currently available to staff is a secondhand laptop donated by the Rotary Club last year.

The Rotary Club of Caringbah is currently working to help Angaha Primary School in Tonga become more fully equipped to educate and lead their students.

In April 2021, the Club plans to send a shipping container, fully loaded with a mix of new and used school furniture and equipment - sorely needed by this isolated island nation.

A number of schools in the Sutherland Shire have provided or pledged tables, chairs and desks and other used items.

We need your help! By donating to this amazing cause, the Rotary Club will be able to purchase much-needed items like printers, photocopiers, and a huge variety of stationery that will allow much modernisation of the learning for these children.
